In keeping with the kind of work the organization does, the interior design concept of the 1300sqm space revolved around the theme of using sustainable materials. 

Planning The new building acquired has Basement+Ground+4 Floors. Basement is used for parking whereas ground floor houses reception and public interaction areas. First floor of the building was designed for Company's top management -Chairman, Vice Chairman and CEO. The typical plans of second & third floor accommodate office management and general staff. And as per the client brief, the top floor which was open terrace was converted into canteen, library, recreation and storage area. 

A cut-out is provided on the fourth floor roof 

water tank is reserved on this floor as fire safety feature. While, the top floor offers panoramic view of the city to the workers, a separate VIP entrance for high level dignitaries on the ground floor ensures privacy. 

Energy-efficiency Measures On the elevation of the building, double glazing unit (DGU) has been installed to avoid bright sunlight and noise. Moreover it reduces heat by 50 percent leading to significant energy saving. DGU is covered with green film to give it a pleasant look and also to cut the sun glare coming from outside. 

For HVAC efficacy, conventional system controls the indoor temperature of the building as a whole and VRV (Variable refrigerant volume) system air-conditions each room individually. The combination is ideal for the constantly changing occupancy of the office areas. For even more precise temperature control as per the room conditions, individual control helps promote more economical and eco-friendly functioning. Apart from the energy saving façade and air-conditioning measures, the entire lighting system uses energy efficient LED lights. 

"Bamboo was sourced from local market and chemically treated in factory of Gujarat State Forest Corporation 'Vanil' of Novtad, South Gujarat. It was further processed including making of light fixtures in Bamboo of Kotwolio community training & skill development centre run by Eklavya Foundation. Fabric for furnishing is sourced from 'Morallibre' where they ore produced by co-operatives and villages of Indio by hand spinners and hand weavers. Unlike other industrially manufactured woven and knitted ones, these hand crafted fabrics making involve hand spinning and hand weaving using 'people energy' instead and has far reaching economic and social benefits to the artisans, mainly women living in remote villages. Creative bamboo fixtures were obtained from Eklovya bamboo foundation."

In contrast, the Chairman's office features Italian marble flooring and has been designed with ample seating area. Special provisions for physically challenged people has also been given by providing toilet specifically for them. Materials like bamboo chattai, cane and hand woven fabrics are used. Bamboo is used not only as flooring and ceiling but also for light fixtures and sign-age. Cane sofas are again sustainable and so is the wood from Along Ship Breaking yard used to make the pergola.
As a matter of fact, designers made sure to use as many green products as possible in the building. The carbon footprint of the entire building is drastically reduced due to the use of such environment sensitive materials & practices. To provide the regional context, a touch of local art is evident in the interiors by way of Warli Painting in its modern interpretation on the backlit panel of reception desk and Pithora painting on the wall behind, in the reception lounge.

Currently we have completed the project on the interiors of Gujarat State Cooperative Marketing Federation (GUJCOMASOL). The special VIP entrance to GUJCOMASOL is eco friendly. The glass facade door using double blazing unit makes a pleasurable experience for the customers. The use of glass wall and wooden textures upon going to the concerned department is also well maintained. On one side is the modern glass wall for keeping up with current time. On the other side are the wooden textures for taking the past in the future.

As we go with eco-friendly concept in every project that we make, natural light in the day time is a good view for both the employees and its customers. This also saves electricity expenses. The waiting room is available with adequate seating arrangements for the visitors. It has unique wooden furniture made of bamboo and cane with nice colored cushions that matches up the room background. The rural art like Pithora has been set up on the desk panel. The meeting room has curtains with subsequent seating arrangements for the senior managers. It has a good V.R.V. system which extends throughout the building with good LED light arrangements, nice seat design, and floor textures.

GUJCOMASOL project has a separate small room where an urgent talk can be done with the concerned person by atleast two people at one time. This small room has the mobile and laptop charger point as well. All rooms have good ergonomic seats. The manager’s room has a seating capacity of 5 persons including the manager. Moreover, manager’s seat is totally made of leather for the daily comfort. The manager’s room has good open cabinet facility to showcase the personal achievements which can be kept there. In addition to it, manager’s room has the glass window from where the outside world can be looked with changing backgrounds every time.  Manager can also take a short nap in the room comfortably in the seat after a hectic business schedule. 

The physically challenged persons have the access to the toilet which has been separately made for them. A provision of meeting during evening hours with natural light coming from outside sets the tone for a wonderful relaxing business meeting. The stairways have good walls and rods. When it comes to the employee working conditions, it has nice cubicles with office pins for maintaining up to date work priorities. The cubicle has good light arrangements on Bamboo. Cubicle also has drawer facilities.

The roof has the skylight facility which has polycarbonate sheet as a cover up above for receiving more light than heat. A green roof is also made for multipurpose activities like recreation facility when the heat is absorbed through green roof. A large building comes with risk. We are committed to give best safety to our clients. Hence fire fighting provision with a 1 lac litre of water has been created separately in an event of unfortunate event.
